Surya Sen, Master Da, Chittagong, Chittagong Armory Raid
Master Da Surya Sen Surya Sen was Known for recruiting a group of young and passionate revolutionaries, which was popularly Known as the Chittagong group. He was also an active member of Jugantor and Anushilan Samiti which was actually used as an underground society for anti-British revolutionaries, the samiti merged as a group of Indian Fitness Clubs and Gyms giving training to youth to fight against the British raj in India. The Chittagong armoury Raid was an attempt on 18th April 1930, to raid the armoury of police and auxiliary forces from Chittagong of Bengal Province in British India now in Bangladesh. Before capturing the two main armouries Sen destroyed all telegraphs, Telephone and railway connections to Calcutta.
